no my friend is probably going to get an sti in a while so i was just curious...alright i have one more for you guys...my 4.7 RCSB against a hemi thats a quad cab and has a flowmaster exhaust...more weight with the qc so i figured it may be a closer race?
Thanks for the opinions everyone
that 4wd will probably slow you down. if you had one of the newer 4.7s with the power increase, now then that would be a different story
Please tell me you didnt put any money down on that bet. They wouldnt even let me test drive the STI around the parking lot. They say that car is set up to pull off of the lot, and go straight to a rally race, and compete. (Probably like they say you can take the Jeep Rubicon straight to the rubicon, yea, ok.) The STI is turbocharged as well as supercharged, a very quick car.
Even the WRX is a quick car. I drive a 4.7 everyday. With a practically stock 4.7, there are very many race inspired CARS you can beat.

I don't even know if that's possible. The only way i could think of doing that would be to run the turbo straight through the SC which wouldn't be much of a problem; but to force induction a belt driven SC? I'm curious now if that would even stay together.
Well after a search, apparently it's possible; with A LOT of modification. I found a Twin turbo/supercharged Subaru STI and a skyline motor
