damn CTDs can get into the 11s with the right mods, maybe lower.

I bet a 4.7 could too, but not stock.

I got the jump on one only cause he wasnt payin attention, then he he dropped back to first and kicked my a**... almost like those cartoons where the car is left spinning around in the other ones dust...

there are a few mods, including a chip, 4.56 gears, the standard bolt on mods like a CAI exhaust and TB spacer... I think there might be a few other things thatll make you quicker im not sure what they are of the top of my head but those few mods I mentioned will get you on the right path

yea, those give you like 80 HP!! (not really, being sarcastic, they likely cause a loss in hp)

I'm responsible for EMD's cylinder liners, design, manufacturing, everything. If you don't know, most diesels have cylinder liners instead of having cylinders machined into the block, so they can be replaced and you can reuse the crank case. I also work on emissions, and piston rings.

A little off the original topic, but to add to the s/c and turbo subject, its called "compound boost". I just got done reading about terminator (03/04 cobra) in this months issue of 5.0 & Super Fords. It was running in the "King of the Street" competition. He was running a ported eaton (factory s/c), twin snails, AND freakin nitrous!!!! Made just barely shy of 1k rwhp....... and had to be driven during a 30mile cruise as part of the competition. Someone knows how to tune (Modular Powerhouse built it I believe)

I think the only non modified pickups that could compete would be the Ford lightning or the Srt 10.
