So far I have gathered the in-channel vents are quieter, than the stick on/body mounted. I have also gathered that, trail-fx, vent shades and avs are some good mfgs. to choose from.
Does anyone have an opinion on the Mopar version? Are they in-channel?
The Mopar ones are stick-on. I have ones from WeatherTech. There pretty much the same price as the Mopar, but they're the in-channel ones. They're pretty easy to install, and they look much better than the stick on ones.
The Mopar window vents were the first thing I bought for my truck. I love them. I got them (82208104AB) off of Ebay for $73.95 + $12 S/H. They are $91 +tax at the stealership. Saved over $10...

Thanks
The in-channel one's are arguable if they are quieter or not. It's barely negligible and can vary from one person to the next.. Since you are squeezing something into a channel that it's not made for...It squishes the seal between the window and it allows air to escape resulting in whistling noises. I have heard plenty of people who complained about wind noises because the channels are wiped by squishing the rubber seal. The only problem I have heard about the stick-on one's is that that sometimes start to fall off if not stuck on properly the first time. I will never use in-channel vent shades. Always stick-on.
