not for long, in a couple months your truck is going to feel old

 

welcome to the 3rd gen section. Trucks looks good lets see some close-ups.

 

I'd love to get some close ups of the truck, but it's been really nasty out today. Too add insult, I can't even drive the truck until Monday because I have to get it insured. Looking at in the driveway will be just fine for now lol.

The dealership that I purchased the truck from offers a 2month/2,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty on all vehicles they sell, so I'm taking them up on it. When I go over bumps with the truck, a little popping noise comes from the drive side front; I don't know if this is a bad ball joint or strut. Also, they provided a history of the mechanical work they did to the truck--they replaced they steering rack. I believe there still may be issues. When taking long turns with the truck, I can feel the wheel pulsating back and forth, very characteristic of a leaky rack. So I made an appointment today for them to look at those two things. Other than that, the interior and exterior are absolutely spotless, the motor runs new, and the transmission shifts beautifully.

 

Congrats on the purchase. That price seems kind of high but if you are happy, that is all that matters. When you get some better weather post up some more pics.

I am sure that the incidents from the 2nd gen forum will be a thing of the past. I for one am willing to let neon have a fresh start on the 3rd gen board. Always happy to have another black qc on here.

And don't worry, I can find you a 2nd gen as soon as you need one. Might even find a 2nd gen guy who will trade you his for yours, so we can get us a new member in here. lol

And I don't believe that I've said anything about your truck. But it looks really nice, just got to get us some more pictures up of it when it's nicer out.
