It's a sensational feeling. It just drives so smoothly, I love that. Like I said, to each his own though. I just feel like this truck fits my personality. It has that very sporty look, yet it's practical with the four doors...not to mention, it's much too fast lol.
If you think that the 3rd gen Rams are good, wait till you try the 4th gen. I heard they ride like a Rolls Royce and go like a Ferrari
and dont be mislead by the ride, those rams can work!

You will love it. IMO 2005 was the best year for the IFS torsion setup (non-coil).

Was there something different dodge did in 2005 with the torsion set-up that made it superior to the previous years of the 3rd generation rams?

You would love a 3rd gen. I like the little changes that they made between the 2nd gen and these ones.

Honestly, the two trucks aren't even comparable. Different motor, transmission, interior quality, style. Personally, I think my father was pushing me to get a ford because all he knew was the ram I previously owned. But after he test drove this truck I own now, he was completely astonished. I love the interior so much. It's extremely cozy, and well done. All of the XLT F-150s I was test driving were so bland, and the seats were so hard. The SLT on the ram is very inviting and attractive. I just can't say enough about this truck at this point. Tomorrow I'm taking it up north with my dad; this will be the ultimate test. My old truck could never do a highway trip, let alone would my dad want to come in my vehicle.
