Wind Noise Issue SOLVED
There are threads and posts about this issue already but this is the conclusion i came to with results that really worked.
Finally had enough of the wind noise around the front doors and pillars, went to an autobody shop where they bent the top of the doors over so they sit flush with the top of the cab (no more "shark fin") and then had the doors adjusted so they seal tight against the cab. Was hesitant about having my doors bent but was fed up enough to get slight joy in watching them get bent. Before you could slide a dollar bill through a closed door with minimal resistance, i had them adjust it so you can't slide it though at all. TIGHT.
So if you are fed up with wind noise you now know what you need to do.

I have an even better way to make the wind noise go away....
Get a Flowmaster 40 and a metal tubing cold air intake. Then turn the radio up louder so you can hear it over the muffler and intake. At that point, you will not be able to hear anything else. I do mean ANYTHING else.
A friend of mine told me yesterday that she feels like she can't even hear herself THINK in my truck.

That 26' U-haul I drove for 1200 miles had the same problem and it was driving me nuts through the high desert. So I pulled over in a rest stop put my knee on the door, grabbed the very top of it and bent the top of the door in, no more wind noise! My truck has only done that once in a high side wind, not enough to warrant bending the door but at least I got to "practice" on a different vehicle.
