Titan beats my hemi
I don't know about you, but I've never really thought about a truck when it comes to racing. Now that I own a hemi, I'm just happy the truck has enough power to get out of its own way, but I wouldn't be sad if I lost to a Titan. The Titans are a much smaller truck. Enjoy having a nice pickup truck that has a lot of power, but more importantly, can do what it's supposed to do effortlessly...work.
i was talking to a few of my coworkers who have titans about full throttle take offs and they said it has some kind of traction control so when they go WOT under 5mph or so the tires dont spin. i dont know about you guys but my tires will spin a little if i got WOT from a dead stop. that will also be a factor too
Dont waste your money on 4.10's. Do as others have said and at least go with the 4.56's. You will be much happier in the end.
Gears gears gears, that's what gets 5300 lbs (at least that's what my QC weighs) moving in a hurry. It's all about leverage. A good wide tire helps too. With the stock 275/55R20's, I could burn them at will. With 305/50R20's, it's a bit harder to do now, much better traction.
Im not saying you shouldnt go to 4.88 pyro, I just wanted to know if there was a specific reason. just wondering.
Oh, and somebody mentioned something earlier about spinning the tires. My 4.7 QC 4x4 will lay a nasty rubber trail if i stand on it from a dead stop. I have to let off to gain traction, and ease into it. And I have 3.55 gears, yes OE, I know, pwned...

4.88s fit in a 2WD no problem, I'm planning on larger tires, and this truck's highway cruising days are over, so the highway mileage loss is no big deal. Everyone on here that has 4.56s loves em, and I figure 4.88s are just 0.32 better
