Default Finally painted door handles and cowl...

Title says it. I got tired of talking about it, and finally just did it. Followed a DIY on a dak I was given, and got dirty.

They turned out well. I got impatient, and didnt buy the paint from the dealer, because it was going to be like $40 in paint alone, which would be stupid. So, rust-oleum it is. Sanded, primered, painted, cleared. Pictures dont look as good as it does in person. It all blends very well!

hahahaha.. hammer you know the story with that!!! lol. You had to point that out!!! There will be a new gate soon. just waiting a little while. I think Im going to have to hold off on the tuner for the tailgate!

The paint is holding up great. Im glad I spent the extra time sanding it smooth, then sanding again.. lol Really makes a difference. I went three coats of color, and 3 coats of clear. On the cowl I went about 5 coats of clear.

I like it. I wasnt sure if I was going to like the cowl, but its growing on me. Next is my bezel and door lock gromets. I bought some matte clear to do em with.

Silver, you know Ive got to post before you! hahaha. Damnit Hammer, youve got me thinking about those damned dents now.. lol.
