Default Need advise before tomorrow, please??

I am looking at purchasing a 2004 regular cab ram with the hemi. It has 55 k miles and appears to be in good shape. I am trading in my 2008 ranger 4cyl for it. Payments will be anywhere from 420-430 with 1500 down and tranding my ranger with negative equity.

That will be a 4yr note. I dont know what interest will be until tomorrow when they call me from the dealership. The good thing is that I am buying it from the company I work for. It will be @ $100 over cost which is about $9900. The bad thing is I am financing around 15k with the neg. equity.

Another this is that I have 46 months left on the ranger @ $356 a month. The reason for wanting it is that it can pull more that 2200 lbs.

Do you think that this is a good deal? I need advise from the best group of guys

Thanks, Chris

Being "upside down" on a vehicle sucks! The deal on the Ram is fantastic, the negative situation you've allowed yourself to get into on the Furd is lousy.
Yep, I'd try to move that slug Ranger for more than they are allowing you for trade first. But if you can't, you just got to determine if the Ram is worth $15,000 to you, because that is what you'll end up paying to get out of your current ride and into it...

If you do get the Ram, MAKE SURE you have an extended warranty cover.
With all that neg equity, you don't want a big bill to land on your doorstep if, say the LSD grenades on the Ram if it's an LSD, would bring you.
You'd have a hard time paying for everything.
My 2cents (if we used them here in the UK LOL)

I say go for it but you better get GAP insurance if it is available. It is worth its weight in gold when you are upside down in a truck!
