Thumbs up New painted grill installed

Replaced the chrome grill surround with a painted one and black inserts.

The only thing left that is chrome is the bumpers....

looks good nice job. How hard was it to take the emblem off. I want to take mine off and put something else in there instead.

The emblem is kind of cool....the chrome ram part kind of snaps on to the black part which is stuck on there with double-sided tape. I just used a small flathead screwdriver to pry it off carefully. The chrome grill is easy but with a painted one, you would have to be very careful! LOL

so you took it off like you did with your badges, then you can pop it off with a screw driver? I would like to get rid of the ram head and put something else on there.

The grill emblem comes in two parts - the black background and the chrome Ram emblem part. The black plastic background part is stuck on like our badges but has two little nipples sticking through the grill. (huhuhuh....he said 'nipples')

The chrome Ram emblem part snaps around and into the black part. The bottom has a couple of tabs that hook on and at the top there is a part that snaps in. Once you get it apart you will see it. You could probably use fishing line to get it fairly loose without having to use a screwdriver. Your grill is painted as well so fishing line might be the best option.
