Well I installed the SC 3815 today. I notice a little difference in power, But Still can't break loose without powerbreaking. Maybe its just the combination of 20" wheels and QC space and LSD. I would just think that the hemi would have enough power to break loose without help. Can anyone else with the same setup do it w/o powerbreaking.

It's called torque management. The drive by wire throttlebody overrides the fun pedal.

My 08 2wd QC weighs 5220. Weighed it on our semi scale at work that was calibrated the day before.

That's a good thing...spinning isn't winning man. The 20 inchers don't help your cause that's for sure.

Maybe you need to do a tune up or something cuz I got the same truck 05 QC 4x4 and still got the lame ol 3.55's and I can break mine loose with 33's without power braking. Mind you I can't do no "chokin smokin" burnout without power braking but I can lay a stretch of rubber.

Hmm, I can't break loose at all unless the ground is wet, and thats with 3.92 gears and 91 octane tune on the SC. But its not like I can take it to the dealership and say I think there is something wrong, I can't seem to peel out, Even with the superchips.

The thing is, It almost seems like Im right on the verge of being able to do it. With the 91 tune I can hear little tire squeak at first then nothing.

Do you guys have any mods, like exhaust or CAI, Right now all I have is the SC.

But I ordered an X pipe and set of longtube headers, So in about a week ill get to weld up a new exhaust and run true duals.

Having 20s or 17s should not make too much difference. If I remember correctly, the 20s equal about a 32" tire, and the 17s equal about 31". The 17" tire from the factory has a bigger sidewall so they both have about the same rolling diameter.

I guess being almost 41 years old and I pay for all of my own stuff, I wonder why one would want to do burnouts, etc. It is hard on the drivetrain. Quick starts, hard launches, and power-braking is just bad on your vehicle.

That being said, it sure as hell is fun!

I have on 04 QC 4x4 with the HEMI and running 33" tires and i can break it loose just by flooring it from a dead start and it will start to get a little smoke going but nothing serious but can still lay some rubber down lol might get a tune up to see if it will waken it up
