Well i was a total GM man for the last 20 some years.Owned nothing but GM,cars trucks and suvs.I test drove a couple new Silverados and Sierras not to long ago. Then i found the Ram below and wishe i had switched over to Dodge years ago.Alot more ground clearance and power. And the ride is equal.JMO.

Dont get your hopes to high before ya test drive one.

I like gm trucks, Quality is much improved, the 5.3 and 6.0 put good h/p and torque numbers and I like the ride of Gm over the fourth gen dodge.

But, Gm trucks have no ground clearance and are releagated to passengers cars with a box.

If that's what it takes to pay the bills around here (assuming there is some lkind of payment for these ads), they can advertise it all they want. I think it is kind of funny that chevy ads are paying the bills for a Dodge site.

i prefered the s-10 over the dakota, but ever since the colorado came out (uck!) I've switched to the tacoma as my favorite mini-pickup. I like Rams best full size (obviously) then the silverado, f150, and tundra (in that order). I feel like GM is cutting corners with the bankruptcy problems, doing everything they can to stay afloat which will lead to reliability issues shortly. Dodge on the other hand I think jus said "ahh screw it we're goin bankrupt anyway may as well not sacrifice quality since we're toast anyway" (basically owned up to it instead of finding ways out of it). just a thought...

As far as quality i think they are even. one out does the other in different catagories. i have had nothing but gm products until this truck i love this truck and i loved my other gm products. stock silverados are kind of bland but put wheels and tires and level your torsion bars and they look meaner than any dodge... well equal i should say. But i will say dodge has them on clearance by far but i also have to say none of myother f-in dashes cracked in my gms!!! which is why i will not buy another ram. unless they start making chevys in china. not the fact that is cracked by the way just the fact that they wont stand behind it with the numerous amounts of complaints filed.
