Best prices in Spokane (from a website updates daily) are $2.66/$2.89/$2.91

Average is $2.79/$2.94/$3.04

around moline il where i live 89 is 2.69 and whats the deal with the 10% ethanol blend not being good gas? i would like a simple answer, for if im hurting the motor i really cant afford the repair costs, and i thought i burnt cleaner and cooler?

The problem with 10% is its just a push by the green weenies in the country to "save the whales" and not really any benefit to you. 10% ethanol alcohol gasoline has a short shelf life, and likes to absorb water in a different manner then 100% gasoline. Ethanol Alcohol also acts like a solvent, it will eat away at seals and o-rings alot faster then a 100% gasoline. Generally it will have a negative performance on your mpg if you truely watch what you gas tank does.

Filled up this morning at 2.97 for 89....that's a 14 cent drop from the other week.

Yes, my truck dropped about 1.5mpg on the highway using 10% blend. I didn't pay attention to it being 10% for awhile, it was a station close to work. I went back to 100% gas because I am lucky enough to get it about 14 miles from home. When driving 360+ miles a week just to work and back, every little MPG counts!!
Yes, it goes bad much faster then real gas as well. So I wouldn't put it in a vehicle that gets rarely driven!!
