There's a time and place for everything. A friend has a beast of a F-150 Lightning. I said I could take him but I pick the place. That muddy cornfield down the road from my house seems like a nice spot.

I dont think the guy in the acura hit the gas off the line, maybe he was just teasing you and didnt realize you would actually go after it, because the newer cars... well lets just put it this way, my dads 4 banger accord could kick all holy hell out of my 5.9 1500, my moms 5.7 2500, and my buddies 06 5.7 1500. maybe with a little bit done to it you might give him a run for his money, but especially once you get past 50 hes gonna take right off from you. your better off picking on trucks and older riceburners. if you wanna take a few cars race a few 90s civics with the buttpipe exhausts on them, youll take them then.

 

yes...the HP marked on the cars from dealers is from the crank...its another story at the wheels...my buddy has an Evo 9. Marked at 286HP stock..took it to a dyno and it was a lot less...of course now $10,000 later he has over 450HP at the wheels on a mustang dyno (not a dynojet..big difference)...needless to say his car is insane...i bet that dude who cant beat an STI hasnt raced an EVO either lol
