Let me ask you guys a question... Lookin at a 2/4 Eibach Protruck lowering kit... First off does anyone have this kit and how is it? Guy wants $300 for it

Secondly, what I really want is a 2/4 with a rear flip kit, what do you reccomend?

Third, can one of you guys with a 2/4 drop do me a favor? Can you measure from the ground to the wheel well in the front and back of the truck, just trying to get a feel for how low it'll drop it

Guess I should add that the kit is for the front and rear springs

heres an ad from auto anything that might be useful, i have heard that the relocation brackets for your springs are just as good as a flip but im not positive on that and it say eibach gives a warranty that will out last your truck....sounds like a good product and ive also heard nothing bad about them you'll have to wait for measurments from azskater he's got a recent 2/4 drop, ken is in iraq and hes got 2/4.5 but i think he sits lower than that....good luck if the kit is used i'd offer a lil less....keep us posted on what you do your truck will be one sick puppy lowered....

I had a hotckis kit on my 02 with new springs in the back. I loved it. I have the flip on my 06, and like it, but would have preferred to have springs. Just didn't have the extra dough. Easier install as far as I am concerned having done both. I would recommend getting some drop shocks either way you go though. Good luck. You should love the kit.

Im a little hesitant now, I've been looking for the kit the guys is selling and I cannot find the full kit for my truck. He claims it is off of an 05 ram 1500 BUT whenever I do a search it it does not come back with the rear springs, only the fronts.

Even the link that jusjay posted only shows the complete kit for the f150, not even a mention of dodge anywhere at all

Just an added point standard Caltracs fit the flip version. I think it is another $30 or something like that for the spring on top of the axle.

Right which is why I want a flip kit... I may end up just piecing together a kit. I can get the eibach front springs for $140 new and a DJM flip kit new for $250... Any thoughts?

if your thinkin about piecing one together id go with some djm drop springs and just buy a set of spring perches weld em to your axle and just flip what you got...thats what im thinking about doing its a cheaper way around it for the same basic thing my buddy actually came up with the idea when we were throwing ideas around...and some other guy came on a while back with the same idea and he's had his truck like that for a few years....no point in spending alot of money on 2 diff kits...jmo

truckin ill get you your heights tomorrow in tucson at the moment without my truck and as far piecing together a kit i would just buy a kit so the parts match imo better results plus i believe you can get a mcgaughys kit at steetpros.com for 299 witch is cheaper than what you were parting together!
