i have heard of people doing a 4/6 on their rams w/o notching. i have also read a thread on D****talk.com where a guy did a homebrew drop for under 80.00.

ok thank you for the info, and sorry for my ignorance,but what do you mean 4/6 in the dropcase? can I obtain it changing only the spring in the front,with lowered one? how can I do for the rear? sorry again If you need info for aircooled vw don't esitate to contact me!!!!!!!!

to drop it 4 inches in the front would usually require changing your springs and spindels or control arms to maintain a good ride quality. you dont want to lower you truck 4 inches with just springs i dont even know if it is possible. on the rear for the 6 inch drop you would do a flip kit and drop shackles in most cases. there are kits available that have everything you would need. 4/6 usually going for 640.00+

mine 2x4. you cant lower a 4x4 as easy. the suspension is different. i like your truck by the way. have you thought about putting some driving light behind the grill? im sure you dont see that in Italy every day

mine was lowered when i got it as well. but i spent so much time researching a drop for my 08 and my 01 that i should be a salesman. i think i need to go a little lower, maybe later
