NY gets lots of snow so a 4x4 is needed and this baby does see off the road.

I'm happy with the hemi but...I would go with a 2500 CTD QCSB,Until they make a better color I'm stickin with black cuz it's the fastest bestest color

Yeah, snow is pretty much the only reason i got a 4x4. Since, to be honest, the closest I’ve come to offroading is driving on a dirt road or in a field a few times. On a side note, Jay, that Hemi badge on your hood looks pretty cool.

ABSOLUTELY !!! I freakin LOVE this truck. Have I modded it, yes. To make it even more capable, reliable, more suited to our particular needs. It still puts a smile on my face. The worse the weather or more tretcherous the conditions, the more impressed I am with it. Had it for over a year & a half.

The new black is no better, it has a metal flake in it and is a pearl base as well, so it wouldn't be any cheaper to paint add-ons.
Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl is the official name.

Thumbs up

I would have bought the Mega Cab. So, when I trade this Quad Cab in, Mega Cab it will be, if it is still offered in the 2500 series (2012/2013). HEMI, not diesel. I'll have to live with it not fitting in the garage. The why I did not buy the Mega Cab in 2006.

FWIW: I have read the thread about some people having problems with their AC in their Mega Cabs. Two of my friends here have the Mega Cab (diesels) and their AC works fine. I'm not sure I understand the issue with every Mega Cab.

I would've either bought a used 1500 without MDS or a 2500 with a CTD, either way it should've been used to avoid the new car depreciation and give me more money to mod!
