Look into a fan off a early to mid 90's ford taurus. You can get it from salvage yard for about $25 to $35 bucks. They are fairly easy to install and will free up descent amount of hp and Tq.

A cam is a good and reasonably inexpensive option if you can install it yourself. However it isn't so easy to install.

With the exhaust, You really should get yourself a set of headers. A set of shorties would be pretty easy to install, as you don't have to relocate anything.

The vacuum leak will not hurt much on a speed density system (no mass air). Lose the spacer and button up the intake correctly.
The X-pipe will help, but yeah, the 3" true duals are way to much. 2.5" max for true duals. I only had 2.25" on my old 460 in my 77 F150 and it ran like a scalded dog!!
The factory uses 3" because it is only 1 pipe.
Glasspacks don't flow any better than Flowmasters. They are straight thru, but the perforations cause a lot of turbulence which = restriction. I would keep the Flowmasters with the 3" pipes. If you downsize to a better size of pipe, then go with Magnaflow's. They are stainless steel and will last forever and outflow what you have 2 to 1.

You also mentioned an idle issue? what is that? Did you clean the TB when installing the spacer? See how it idles when you remove the spacer.

I've been told only the old stamped Glasspacks cause restriction because they used the equivelant of a dimple die to make the perforations and the new ones are smooth so there's no small protrusions into the airway. I can't believe that they wouldn't flow good enough! Almost every aftermarket muffler out there dyno's withen 3-5 hp of each other, just because one will outflow another on a flow bench doesn't mean the lesser of the two will be restrictive to your vehicle unless you are running a really high HP race engine or something.

If the OP is getting rid of the TB spacer, let me know. I have a use for one.

Default my opinion

Well the one thing that nobody mentioned is that you went from 20's -22's, this will change your overall ratio, it would be like going from 3.92's to 3.23's, what gears do you have in that? If I were you I would go get a set of 4.56's and there wont be any chance that guy would pull ya down, granted it is possible that he put a little bottle on the truck or did some other mods, but going from 5-6 car lengths to him on your bumper thats alot . I couldn't imaging that you lost that much power doing your mods

My exhaust is not 2 to 1 it comes 2 all the way out.

So why would a E Fan from a Tarus be better than a E Fan from a dodge??

ANd yea when i take it off if you are interested in mt TBS it is brand new only have about 80 miles with it on.

When my truck use to run a low 15 1/4 mile i was all proud but when i put some more mods it went up to 16.6 1/4,, today when i ran a 1/4 mile i was so mad I RAN A 17.1 QUARTER MILE... WHATS THE DEAL???? ANY Answers???? I ave no check engine lights on.. have not done nothing to mess with performance at all since i put mods...

When he says 2 to 1, he means that for every 1 horsepower that your exhaust makes, the other one can push 2. So if your exhaust loses 10 hp in the system, the other one will lose only 5. Not 2 pipes down to one.

O ok my bad misunderstood the whole 2 to 1.

Ok here is the funny thing lastnight i ran into a red light here in my Town and this 2008 or so Tundra pulled up next to me. He started power stalling so i new right away what was going to happen when the light turned green.
When the light turned green we both left the line and he got a jump on me my bumper ruffly was at his passenger door. But once we hit 34-40 mph my truck started to gain faster ground on him and by the time i new it i was way in front of him by at least 2 car lenghts. We went to about 120mph.

If my truck can do this then why are my times so bad???

I think that this friday when i get paid ill get my truck tuned and looked at becasue this is really getting me mad lol...

You can feel the power in my truck at 3500 roms to 4700 rpms or so but before and after that it feels like its set on stock. O yea and it shifts hard into second..
