need help on mpgs, and best for hp

As odd as this may sound, people losing mileage using the mileage xs tune is very common. I don't know what it is about that tune but a lot of people (including myself) have gotten worse mileage with that tune.

It detunes the pcm to where the engine has to labor to do what it needs to do, which in turn, uses more fuel. Mine does best on the 93 octane setting on my Predator.

I drive about 72 miles round trip to work and will be trying more things to increase mileage. Currently, I have a K&N drop-in filter, Airaid MIT, Magnaflow cat-back and a Diablosport Predator. The Predator made the most noticeable difference in power and MPG. If I turn the MDS on, I can get 22mpg+ on fairly level ground at 65mph, but it sounds funky

I found 1 easy way to increase my mileage this week from 18 to 32.








I drove the wife's Caliber to work all week

Yup, i get better mileage using the 91 performance tune as well. Not sure if the extra 1.5 mpg is worth the extra cost for premium though...i've never calculated it.
