Default 2005 front bumper removal help

i bought an oem black front bumper for my 05 ram 1500 and i want to replace my chrome bumper with it. My front bumper is made up of 3 pieces- the top black piece the middle chrome piece and the bottom black piece. Do i need to take all 3 pieces off to get to that middle piece? Anyone have pics and instructions for the front bumper removal? Thanks guys

To remove the whole front bumper, its just 4 bolts that are bolted to the front frame.

Do those 4 bolts remove the bumper from the brackets or do they remove the brackets from the frame?

They remove the bumper from the frame and then you transfer the brackets, upper cover, and lower dam to the new bumper

It removes the whole bumper, but in broken down terms, it removes the bracket from the frame which is connected to the another bracket that is connected to the bumper. I should of asked, The black bumper you bought, does it have any of the brackettry???

Heres an idea, crawl under your truck and look how it comes off, its not any big deal. did you get another steel bumper or a bumper cover? If its the cover theres more to changing it
