Default Help - Can These step bars be saved?

is it possible to save these step bars? Im wanting to make them black when its all said in done with either spray paint or preferably powder coat.

you could probably media blast them and have them powder coated.
or maybe some herculiner on them...

Yeah, that is rust just starting to penetrate the surface. You could scuff them with some heavy grit or if you've got a DA sander that would work great. Pick up a couple cans of primer and paint and you'll be good to go.

I have the same problem on mine. Looking kinda crappy.

So just a belt sander and some gritty sand paper and have at her eh?

Id like to re-paint em black aswell just not sure if black and burgandy go well together..

Or you could pretty those up, sell them, buy stainless bars and paint those.

Have them sandblasted or media blasted and then powder coat them---> Longer lasting finish....

i called a place about rhino lining them.. he said it was gonna be $500
i called a powder coat place and they said 80$ for PC and they would have to look at the bars first to give me sandblast fee.. you think if i sand my self some first it would cut down on sandblast fee?
