OK, I've finally decided to give in to all the Magnaflow guys. I am going to put a 3"in dual 2.5" out. I have searched but I am having a hard time finding any part numbers for mufflers, I want a 14" long muffler,recommendations on where to buy and best price? I found one on ebay for about $58 shipped.

 

$58 seems like a good price the one I got was about $85 everywhere I looked. I also have a 14" and recommend that you pick up at least the 18" b/c the 14" is quite loud and drones quite a bit and that's on a 3.7 v6. Part # for a 5x8 oval are 12198 for the 14" and 12288 for the 18". The one on ebay is a 13288. Thoughts would this be a good one for the $$?

 

There's a 12198 on there for $77.90 if I buy it tonight before my ebay 10% off coupon expires.

having such an open flow muffler on the 3.7 would actually cause more drone because the smaller engine cant fill out the muffler, but on the larger engine it shouldnt drone quite as much and have more of a rumble, for someone with the 3.7 to go with a large v8 muffler would sound quite a lot like a ricer without a muffler... so I would say the 14" for your v8 hemi should be great. Let me know how it sounds, I would love to get one as well.

Could be, but the stock muffler is larger although I think it's chambered/baffled. I think in just drones as a combo of the way the exhaust exits the side and the fact that a 14" muffler is pretty damn small.

Cool site lxman gives you a way to haggle w/ them and try for a killer deal, but he still got a good discount off retail.

 

THe Seller I got it from is Right next door in Indiana too,so I should get it quick!
