Default Stupid question here but please answere

Im stuck with the stock 275/60/r20 tires for now on my ram (1500) and i have a question.

I just read online that i should be using 60 psi in the tires but ive been told not to use anymore than 34 psi per tire.

So what should i have in there for psi? Remember these are stock tires

HemiLonestar, the number on the side of the tire is the MAXIMUM pressure the tire can handle. That is not what you should be inflating to though. Always go with the recommended pressure from the vehicle manufacturer, which is on the drivers door or pillar next to it.

(And I know you're probably being sarcastic, but some people might not understand that and take your post as true.)

i run 5 psi lower than that listed on side of tire... which is 55psi. the higher the pressure, the better mileage/tire wear. make sure the number doesnt exceed whats printed on the tire though

I agree... Tires last longer with the pressures a little higher than vehicle specs and closer to tire specs!
