Talking Guess what just came?????

What can Brown do for you? because they just dropped off my HID Retrofit kit that I just purchased.
Looks like i'll be a busy guy this weekend. Should have everything done on Sunday, but the bulbs i ordered are still in transit to the company and I won't see them till next week sometime. Matt sent me some used shop bulbs temporarily so I can get everything mounted and aimed proplery. I opted for the Philips 85122+ bulbs which are 4300k color and remain that color. i wanted 5000k, but i couldn't justify the $150 price tag. Philips bulbs are like no other. 2500+ hours compared to most aftermarket bulbs that last on average a few hundred hours not to mention the brightness varies from bulb to bulb w/cheapos. Philips bulbs are made to match. I also opted for the slightly used Matsu****a Gen 3 ballasts rather than new Hella ballasts which are not made by hella. they just plaster their name on them.

Hopefully I'll be able to blind you guys with some pics if i can ever get them posted up with photobucket up my *** about donations because I'm pass my bandwith which is from too many site visits...lol Not your guys fault, I just post too damn much.

Is that why I can't see your sig pic anymore? Well whatever the reason, get that account taken care of bc you need to post up some pics after you get it all installed.

Yeah, it is. But all the other pics are visible. i tried uploading a few pics and they are blank when i upload them. Sucks, because I have only had my new sig for a week now. I'll finger something out for sure.

how come you're going with the matsu 35W ballast instead of the mori 55W? you'll need capacitors with the 35W, but I think you can do without for the 55W. am I just plain wrong?

I wasn't aware that Retrofit source sold the Mori 55w'ers. Besides, it will give off slightly more light, but the bulb life will not be near as good and i have heard of many guys melting the plastic bases running 55w all the time. Not something i wanna be a part of. besides 3400 lumes is WAAAAY more ouput than the Halogen 1700 Lumens stock. I also like to buy from ONE place when possible.
Parts to fool the Canbus sytem are not expensive and are not hard to make. After all, I'm in school for Electronics Engineering!

didn't know the 5500 could fry bulbs. they give the option of new mori 55 or slightly used matsu 35w. i'd figure the 55w would be the option to go with, but you obviously have good reason to not do that.

yea, shouldn't be too hard for you to figure out.
