it was a pride thing, he probably realized he was wrong too late and just gave the verbal warning to save face. We are all human and make mistakes I suppose.

 

To be honest, I really couldn't tell you, maybe he was a Ford guy Maybe he was having a slow day and picked you at random to see if he could get a hit. Maybe he thought you really weren't wearing a seatbelt since you had dark clothing on and then said "you definitely didnt have your seatbelt on" in order to not back down. Don't let it get to you too much man, it was a stop and release, no damage done.

 

steve i wasn't trying to be against cops with my profiling comment for one its illegal to profile but you know what they do trust me my fiances dad is a local captain and he tells me about how his guys do it all the time its a tactic you gjust gotta cover your instincts most likely when they do it they have a hunch and it usually pans out with something illegal....just not in nicks case....
