Yeah I figured that on the weight, thanx for the help. Hopefully I can figuere this out.
I found this through Google, its from the 2nd Gen...I think he had the same problem and fixed it by adding limit straps.

I hope you figure out your problem, but I just wanted to throw in a comment about my truck.
When I put my leveling kit on, I never changed my shocks at all. When I let the shock bolts go, with my truck supported on jack stands and my wheel fully extended to the ground, the shock kept on decompressing about 6" or more longer than what the tire was able to fully extend to the ground. I am after doing multiple trips offroad, over horrible terrain, and have no noises or problems at all. Therefore, I decided against putting on new shocks......I just didn't need them. Any comments?

It may be that your driver side shocks have been tightened tighter and are compresing the bushing more. Try a torque wrench or maybe stiffer or larger rubber bushings.

I have a 2WD 2008 that I put a 2" kit on with longer Fabtech shocks. I only have the bump on the PASSENGER's side. And yes, it is the hitting the shock bucket on the way down. But I hardly notice it all now. If you hit a hard bump, you may hear it, but I hardly ever hear it. After speaking to Fat Bob's garage about it, they had no fix....

You need to go back to your stock shocks. I am having the same trouble, as are many others on this forum with the leveling kits. I have done extensive research and have found that the dodge engineers designed our front suspension to have the shocks limit wheel travel (Keeping the upper arm from hitting the tower). By getting longer shocks, you are allowing more wheel travel. I have been told that you might also be able to go to a stiffer shock???? Am not sure how or why this works???? but am going to give it a shot this weekend... only takes 15-20 minutes to change the front shocks out... GOOD LUCK.

Thanx guys fo the advice...& yes its a 2WD.
I guess I will try switching out the shocks back to the stock shocks later today...I will post the results in a couple of hours when I get back online.
If that doesn't work I will try the limit straps and keep you updated if I find the solution.
