Question Leveling kit & Limit Straps!!?

So with the 2.5" leveling kit & new longer shocks in this past weekend, my only problem is the control arm hitting the spring bucket! Not really complaining cause damn my truck looks real GOOD. Plus I know there should be a solution to the problem. I've tried searching but the search function is tripping or something, it gives me like 1 or 2 answers not even related to my search.

So my question is...

Can I use limit straps to prevent the control arm from hitting the spring bucket?

If anyone has or had this problem please let me know what you plan on doing or what you did to to fix it.

Thanx.

Edit: This only happening on my DRIVERS SIDE.

limiting straps are for full droop, is that where it is hitting at or is it at full compression. if its compression then you need bumpstops to stop it from hitting

yeah I'm kind of new at this and limiting straps looked like a solution that's why I asked...

It is hitting when i go over bumps or pot holes when the wheel drops backs down...it's mainly on my driver side, I don't really hear it on the passenger side?

yeah i think stock shocks are 15". I got the Bilstein stock shocks for a 2500 (F4-BE5-C603-H0) 2" longer.

I hope you figure out your problem, but I just wanted to throw in a comment about my truck.

When I put my leveling kit on, I never changed my shocks at all. When I let the shock bolts go, with my truck supported on jack stands and my wheel fully extended to the ground, the shock kept on decompressing about 6" or more longer than what the tire was able to fully extend to the ground. I am after doing multiple trips offroad, over horrible terrain, and have no noises or problems at all. Therefore, I decided against putting on new shocks......I just didn't need them. Any comments?

I got the info for the shocks from threads here and thats what members recommended? After reading many threads 2" longer shocks was the solution for many.

But the only hitting is happening on the driver side...IDK why? My passenger side is PERFECT.
