Default Got my *** whooooped

Tonight I finally got a chance to go racing against my brother's new Ram just to see how the extra 45 h/p would do against the 3rd generation hemi; and sure enough it was clear as night and day. Whether it was from a dig or a roll, my brother's truck pulled away almost instantly. His truck had a great advantage with the paddle shifter so power was right there when he wanted it. My truck was bogging at 40mph as we were beeping and although it would explode when I slammed it, he still took right off. Case and point, the new Rams are FAST. I still think my truck looks better, but I'm sure once he starts pimping his out, I'll become more partial to the 4th generations

Wow - I bet that 390hp is pretty good. What gears are on it? 3.92s??

That's the sad part for me, he has 3.55s. I have 3.92s. I thought I'd at least be close from a stand still but I just peeled out the whole time. Those new Rams are quick and light.

I agree those new ones are very nice! I had the liberty of renting one from the airport in Phoenix earlier this year and I was floored at how powerful that truck was. Very smooth, very quiet, very fast! Buddy I was with was thinking it would take his turbo King Ranch!

Sounds like you need to start modding that thing.

I wish this race had both with 3.92's. Bet the results would be a lot closer.

Well, those results seem about right since both of your trucks are stock. Sounds like you need some performance mods before you run him again.

Is it the shape of the front bumper? That is the part of the front that doesn't do it for me.
