Why didn't you get a diesel?
Meh, The deals right now on trucks are crazy.
I got a big gasser because a CTD with the same miles/upgrades would have cost me 10-15 grand more and as far as engine upgrades I prob will not end up doing to many due to time/money.
Had there been a CTD for $14k with 46k miles on it I would have jumped all over that instead.
something about a 12mpg truck that just seems to lower the price so nicely lol.

Im happy with my gasser, its all I need. It gets good enough gas mileage for me, not that I bought it for gas mileage, if I was looking for that I would have bought a car, but 14 is my running avg even with my 35's, the 5.9 gasser actually turns 35's fairly well imo, I wouldn't go any larger than those, but not because of the engine, more because of my IFS. And I like how quiet my truck is, and it is fairly quick without having to dump a ton of money into, at least quick enough for me when I want it to be, I can still take your average ricer off the line. I tow rarely, although that may change here quickly, but not enough weight to justify a diesel. And I work around diesels so much around the semi-trucks that I just don't want to have to be around one while I'm away from work. Another thing that keeps me away from them, is that one of the most knowledgeable truckers I know, he owns a trucking company called George Van Dyke Trucking, he has 21 Tractors and various trailers, and him and his family do all the maintenance on them, and they have built I think 6 show trucks now that they have(they have built more, those are just the ones they still have) And he always runs gasser pickups. Thats enough for me to believe that having a gasser is not such a bad thing.
