WHOA, I thought those were quarter mile times for a second, Guido, I almost laid a golden crankshaft, haha. Impressive none the less though. Glad to see you whipped that Ford, I got beat by everything I ran against. The last one I raced was an older F-150 Lightning and he only got me by like .3. You made the wingnuts proud, my man!

 

Todd, to be honest I was pissed, but everyone else there was impressed.... not me tho... I wanted 9.5's, but I deffinately felt a loss in pull in the 2nd half of the track.... then when she shifted outa second it was weak... Have to find a way to manually shift it.... dont know if the comptr will let me do that... any ideas, regarding that??

I'm pretty sure the computer will let you manually shift it. I read here somewhere that one guy was doing it and had better times.

It's gotta be more of a traction issue with your truck and those low gears though. How warm was it at the track last night?

 

Tks Viper... am gonna do it again soon.... they had a Lightning there and I think it was an 04... ran in the high 9's.....so if I can hook it up I wanna go for him, LOL......I did my best, not bad for being away for 28 years... funny tho, it sure makes you want more...

Todd am gonna test the manual shift thing this weekend, and also drop the air pressure on the rear wheels... to 30 lbs, or lower.. hell, I have 11 3/4" tread... big footprint.....

Folks. Here's a link to a database for our runs. I think the intent is to use it to display our BEST runs, and entries can be modified I'm guessing.

This thread will remain open unless someone else closes it. We'll use this one to discuss our trucks on track issues.

I haven't messed with it yet, but I think all you do is get in there and fill in the blanks. I think.

 

Turns out that you don't need to provide that info. I didn't use it on either of my entries.
