Default What Size Stall

Just read the other transmission post and there was a wealth of information. I guessing a 2800 stall will be my best bet and should go well with any future cam upgrades. Mines a RC SWB 2WD and I never haul anything with it.

They are going to put a kit in it and made reference of a pump upgrade. Haven’t seen any comment on pump upgrades, if there is such a thing. Any comments or opinions appreciated.

2300 is roughly stock
2400-2600 is good for a daily driver
2800-3000 is good for the track

Mine is a 2700 stall and is great on the street as well as at the track. Be sure you get the racing version though, the other just increases the stall (Edge products), if you go with an APS setup they only do a racing version. The racing version clears up some of the parasitic loss while the other is basicxally a stock converter with a increased stall.

Yeah I just went to their site and saw the one for Hemi's. I'll have to call the shop and see if that’s the one they are referring to.

Just spoke with them and it's will have the APS Hemi stall with the TransGo shift kit upgrade. Should have it back in a few days.

This is something I really want to do. I am considering selling my viper fan setup to help fund the 'verter.

If I sell it, it will be the whole shebang- fan, mounting frame, controller, my relay setup, overflows, etc... probably $300.

Yup, that be the one I have, only thing is I had them build it with a 2700 stall instead. it is THE best mod I have done to date.
