rotors
It's hit and miss with all of them I think. I've had four Grand Cherokees since '95, three of them were the ex's daily drivers and the '95 was fine, the '98 and '02 both ate rotors. My '02 GC Overland still has the originals at 98k miles.
My '98 Ram RCSB 4x4 ate it's first set of fronts at 30k miles, but my '04 is still on the stock ones (and stock pads) at 50k.
My little brother's '98 Chevy Z71 goes thru almost a set a year...
It must be a here and there problem, because I still have one original rotor on the left side at 168,000 miles. It is scored all to hell, but still isn't warped. Never had it turned, because it is rusted tight, figure I'll change it when the bearing goes bad. I have the right side rotor sitting on top of the toolbox, all turned and ready to go in case I ever need it. I had to buy a new rotor when I changed the front wheelbearing because after you beat on the old one with a hammer, on Sunday, to get it off of the truck, no one is open that can turn them, but Advance is open late to buy a new one.
Brakes and clutches are not covered under warranty. You can usually get support up to 12mon/12K.
I do not like cross drilled rotors, especially on a heavy truck. The holes tend to be a good point to crack. I prefer slotted rotors as they are not prone to cracking.

I put Powerslots on my 2nd Gen with Hawk pads, stopped the truck even when towing the bass boat better than the stockers did when not towing. Going to the same combo whenever the stockers go on the '04, not in any hurry though, LOL...
Well i am out rotors, pads and shocks.....STILL VIBRATING ITS BUTT OFF.Is there any way to test calipers or do you throw the dice?Wife will not drive it,its soooo bad.We just bought the truck with 127,000 miles or so and inherited all this
