I actually have mine from doing the swap last month. I was going to clean it up and slap it up on eBay. Send me a PM if you're interested. I'd rather not use eBay.

Yep, daily driver. Firefighter, how may miles since you did the springs till the lifter problem? Thinking of slapping on these 16 band-aids and running to the dealer and replace the truck.

Hey Sledder,

Well over 100K miles with the new springs and rods. Can't remember exactly, I'd have to scroll back through some posts. It's been over (5) years and def over 100K miles. I'm guessing I was around 145K or so without looking back.

Wasn't a spring, it was #6 intake push rod was bent. Put a new one in, got about 50 miles and it bent again. WTF is going on? All I did was get an oil change and now this?

Weak valve spring is a common cause. Basically anything that can cause some playwill get the rod out of sync with the valve/lifter/cam lobe. Bad lifter can cause it as well...

Got the oil tested, 10w30. Supposed to be 5w20. Changed the oil to 5w20. Lube place is going to get a bill.

Realized I still have the valve spring tool that I purchased during this epic thread. I'll sell it for the same price I purchased it for, $75.00 if anyone is interested.
