sharkhunter10.
Did you do a "soft reset" ie pulling the PCM fuse.......or did you do the "cold reset" disconecting the battery and leaving the lights and 4 ways swithched on for 10-15mins or so, to drain any residuals etc?
Do the battery thing as suggested above to make sure, then do another test drive.
Only thing I can think of to help you bud.
Good luck and post up.

I just called Sonnax and spoke with one of thier techs and was told they should not cause any internal issues with seals or sensors.

If you really think about it, Sonnax does sell their line booster for $40 and without a full shift kit.

ive put about 200 city/highway miles on mine this weekend and no issues at all... did you use the correct wires? maybe the 2 wires touched and caused a sensor to go bad. did this happen right away or was it fine for awhile? hopfully its just something stupid and not something serious!

alright well It has worked for 2 weeks no problem awesome mod. Then I didn't drive my truck all weekend because I rode my motorcycle because the good weather. On Sunday I had to take it to the insurance ppl to adjust it. When I got in it it was slipping like a bit*h! I could only get it to go to third gear. It didnt throw any codes though. I finally made it home and took the wire out and reset everything. Battery and fuse. So Then later that night I went over to my Gf's house and she drove just perfect. I didnt notice a thing it was just like stock so I figured my tranny just didnt like it and needed to be reset so this made me happy!. Then as I left her house it started acting up again, but this time I couldnt get it out 2nd gear. I would get it to "third" but it would act like it was in neutral. So i limped her at like 30 mph until I was sick so I had my buddy tow her home for me because I was going to have to hit the freeway and he would do it for free. So I got it home and went to bed hoping it would maybe fix itself over night enough to get it to the shop in the morning. Well I woke up this morning skipping school and put the power wire on. I checked every wire and they all lined up great looked perfect and matched up and everything. Now I took the truck for a ride and it seemed to be working fine again. So I let it sit and noticed a slurping sound it was making. idk what it is sounded like a pump asking for more fluid. So I was like lets just get the ba*%erd to the shop. As I took of it was slipping really bad and still could only drive in second gear. It didnt even want to take off in first it would just rev up high and slowly speed up until it hit second then it was ok but thats as far I could go. I took the wire out one more time and reset everything before i got there and it was even worse and threw the coeds again. So I got her towed to the shop that was going to fix the front (dealership) and told them to look at the tranny while they have it there. Warrenty is up so is my dollar anyway so idk insurance my cover it from the wreck if it is a problem from that wink wink but its not good so ya i will be driving an acura rl for a while lol.
The only good thing about all of this is my new front end Im going to get the sport bumper painted to match with paint matched grill shell with the grill I have now so yay but shes gone for a while
