you talkin about the long 5/8ths spark plug socket? If you have a small adapter or extension, you can put that down the hole and snap the two together and then pull it out

ah I see what you are sayin. You may have to lay on the engine and reach in with both hands and try to shimmy it loose or something. I know the booster is removable, I just havnt done it myself. Here's what the manual says about removing the booster if you need the info.

x100 on these trucks! Gotta have the 2 different sockets. Actually, I had 4 but 2 of them found the rapid propulsion method to the mountian stream the 1st time I changed plugs on this truck

Hey Joe, where did you get that cool schematic from?

i got it thanks guys. i put a screw driver in and shimmied it out although the magnet with a long pole would have worked great. these things are a pain in the ***. Do you guys use a 6inch extension or 3"? im using the 6 right now but am having trouble with it being too long, and im not sure if the 3 is long enough?

Try and get a long piece of wooden dowel.
Put some epoxy resin glue on it and tag it to the socket.
Make sure it's not run onto the plug top.
Let it set, then try to pull the socket out????
Only thing I can think of, if a powerful magnet doesn't work.
Strike that....just read your successful attempt.
Al.
