Default Un-labeled switch in my '07 1500

I just bought a used Ram yesterday and I found this random on/off switch to the bottom left of the steering wheel down by the parking brake. In the owner's manual it is described as a way to adjust the pedals, but it is quite clearly not considering it is simply on/off.

Anyone know what this is? My dad thinks it might have something to do with passenger airbags, but I doubt it.

EDIT: Here's a picture.

Could have been for something aftermarket from the previous owner, I know my light behind my grill use a switch like that just mounted in a different place.

On my ram, that space is just a cover, no on/off switch. It doesn't look stock to me so as others have said, probably for some lights that were removed. That or maybe some LED lights under the dash...that's what I'll be doing soon

It doesn't seem to be anything with the lights. I just went and flipped it on/off at different stages of lights being on. Nothing changed. Albeit it's 3 in the afternoon.

I doubt it's audio related. No subs and the stock stereo is in.

DO you have any wires coming off your battery terminals? I would bet its something aftermarket that has been removed. If you can trace the wires down, if they are there behind the switch you are pre-wired for something you may want to install, like lights!

I'm pretty sure there are wires to the switch. I can't tell cause it's a pretty hard angle to see. I'll go check the terminals and see if I see anything.

There are some wires coming off the terminals. Whether or not they should be there, I have no idea. So I'll let you tell me!

And I unfortunately don't have a meter to see if the switch us live.
