a gasket didnt come out of mine, so i didnt put one in. just blue rtv. no leaks

I didn't have no gasket except for the old RTV I had to scrape off, I just used the red/orange or whatever color it is for my gasket and I don't have any leaks.

yeah I was a bit nervous when I saw the orange stock stuff, (Original own. didn't touch it) And I picked up the blue rvt but it's all good . Question how much of that 3rd quart should be used?? I stuck my 1st knuckle and felt oil so I stopped putting it in. I went just over two quarts.

thats about right. doesnt really matter how much you put in as long as it fills up to the check hole

Ya only wanna fill it to just about an 1/8th inch below the fill hole in the cover.

I'm probably acouple ounces short then. I'll top it off tomarrow I guess before more fu7kin rain!!! AAARRRGGGH! shouldn't be a deluge thou lol

Mine took exactly 2 RP quart bottles to fill it to the dot.

See thats what mine did /However the thing that is bugging me is the 4.5 pints it calls for thats a full half a quart more than what I put in.?! well a little more actually 3.92 gears but idk if that matters.?
