i finally got around to building a home brew CAI with my own little twist. i kept the stock airbox with my K&N drop in filter but i cut the bottom off of the air box so it gets tons of air. check it out. what do yall think?

hellz to the yeah!!! i just took it for a quick trip up the highway and back!!! it was freakin awesome!!! i couldnt really hear anything in regular driving but at WOT it was screaming!!!! and according to the butt dyno there was a definite change in the way she performed!

RH - how much of the airbox did you cut? i was worried about cutting to much off because i was thinking heat from the engine could be a problem.

very nicely done, this is the reason I am hanginging on too the stock stuff just in case. You guys have the most cost effective cai going imo . congrats dudes . You too rh. not sure who else has this besides you two btw.

oh but i did notice my CEL was on when i got back to the house so i may have an issue with the air sensor. i will have to do some investigating the first of the week since i gotta work all weekend.
