Default 06 1500 lifted mega cab

I have a 06 1500 4x4 lifted mega cab with 37s it has a hemi I love the way the truck looks and the interior but I hate the gas mileage what is the best thing I could do? What all would have to be done on a cummins swap? Is it possible the 1500 megacab is on a 2500 longbed quad cab right it's all the same right? It is an 8 lug

You would be better off selling it and buying a Cummins

But there are mods you can do to gain some ponies and some mpg if you are still interested

with that much weight gears will get you better mpg... but its going to take forever to make up $2000 in gas savings
what gears do you have?
