yeah install is always a big cost, not sure what I would do myself or how far I'll go with modding the truck, but I'm pretty mechanical as I do millwright work, however always need to have a plan so sometimes doing it on own isn't the best idea

Yep,The next Plateau,It's too Bad Moes Traction Bar are no longer in production as I felt they looked real nice anyhow, but what else could you want! Dyno session to get the data required to fill out a custom Edge or APS Torque Converter application form.

The next thing on my list is a converter. After that, I will probably have to be done for a while. I have some big things in regular life coming up in the not to distant future that I need to have my modding done before they happen.

You don't need a dyno to get a good torque converter. It's not like this is the first sidewinder install and we're breaking new ground here. Andre knows exactly how much power you'll be putting down in regards to TC setup. I just spoke with him yesterday regarding my TC. He knew all about the sidewinder and its variants.

Andre does know his stuff about these trucks and this cam. I have already spoken to him about what converter would be best and what stall speed to go with. He is a very knowledgeable guy.

Ok, Teach, Frog, Don't wanna Jack, and this is good info and know I figured out who Andre is, got it, when ready call Him at the source. On Moes site for both converters he sells a whole list of drop down boxes appear with info to enter and what is confusing is when looking at the race version you needs like 440 Ft/Lbs torque min and it was good to 600 HP, well I suppose with a good Cam, gears and supporting Mods a fellow be in that zone. I ordered the TCI and will be able to give an opinion on it in the next few weeks and see what it does as I felt I should wait until I have my bigger Gears in and ditch the 6.1 Cam, then proceed with an Edge upgrade. And if the new TCI turns out to be Crap, then I can nail it to the wall of my garage (when it gets built).

Update: Took the truck over to my garage today and dumped the break in oil and filled her up with some mobil 1. Also changed my spark plug wires to a set of taylor thundervolt 8.2's that I got for father's day. After all that I took the truck out for a little shakedown on the highway. The idle is really smoothing out now, no stumbling at all today. Great power throughout the low and mid rpm's with still good power all the way up to the shift. Overall, loving the cam .

And as an added bonus, my mpg's are just as good if not better than before. Since I figured no one would believe that I could cruise at 67 and still get over 22mpg's, I made a little video as proof. Sorry about all the background noise but I had all 4 windows open while I was driving around.
