Default ported and polished tb....

as most of you know i bought a ported and polished 68.5mm throttle body off rengnath in the dak section. it was ported and polished by another member on here. it works great as i have no issues with it. the only thing i need to feel more comfy with it is some r&r with it vs. the oem. as i feel i may have lost a lil chit and get in my launch but i may be wrong in that assumption, i will be playing with the 2 in the near future and doing some diff runs with them. but for now like i said i added a nice tb to the mix of mods i have and so far at wot i like it....little more whistle than expected but hey its worth the extra fun if its there....heres a few pics on the comparison of the 2 p&p vs. oem.....

Shouldnt affect off-the-line power, in fact, it would probably only benefit in WOT applications. And Im not sure how much that would be...you certainly will have better flow thru the body, but if the rest on the intake is cast rough, Im not sure there would be any.

the only part that matters is the flow through section, its all smoothed and polished. how would the cast part have anything to do with my performance?.....and yes at wot is where i see the most gains....

lol the only part that matters is the part thats ported and polished... and yes wot would have the most gains since the tb i open all the way during that time and more air will be able to get in the intake...
