yes. Weed kinda pioneered this mod. You will still have to cut a bunch of plastic out from behind that panel, around the radio, to fit a DDin. But that's the easy part, where noone sees it. Weed did the hard part for you

Yep, if you just cut some of the roof are on the radio cavity it will fit fine. Some guys cut the sides and bottom but you dont need to.

I seen that thread. Kudos man. It looks good. IDK if i would trust JB Weld but that stuff can really bond to some materials.

Your work is outstanding. it would be nice to see the finished product on your truck. As for me, I've decided to go with a drop in. If I can only get a few more horsepower out of a CAI then its not worth it to me to spend the money. I think that a guy who is trying to show his vehicle or wants a few more horsepower would buy your intake because it looks great finished off. For me, I've decided to put the extra money in savings and buy a better tow pig, i.e, diesel 4 x 4. I hope you can sell a bunch of them because they are cool looking and I believe they will help with the air temps.

here are some more pics. A good friend directed me to an awesome deal on a nice S&B 4" filter so I had to trim one end on the intake down and add a piece to go from the 3" to the 4". I welded it on, sanded, filled, sanded, primed and painted last night.

So now all i need to do is wet sand and clear/seal it.

In the mean time, here are some pics from last night. I will get some daytime pics today.
