With the relay harness, the HID is engaging the locking of the 4wd (strange thing). I'm waiting for the load resistor to try to solve this issue, I will tell here any further change as soon as get those in couple of days... I'm getting anxious to solve this trouble and finally enjoy the HID ...

Edit: I know this will solve the flickering issue but the flickering issue is without the use of the relay harness. I am concern about not using the relay harness with the oem wiring.
sorry my bad iv got A bi level kit that's what I was thinking when I said 4 resistors sorry but yes The resistors will fix the flashing issue the resistance of the hid kit is lower than the halogen bulb so the computer keeps getting fooled into thinking bulb is out so it shuts circuit Down now 4X4 thing that's odd there not sure whats up with that

If You get HID's For Your Driving Lights You Don't have to use resistors or a relay kit they are not CAN BUS and they are already relayed in fuse panel just in case you did not know iv done switched all my lights out to hid

Update on my issue: the 4wd issue has been solved by moving the bow3. I originally installed it between the harness and the ballast but it was supposed to be install between the factory wiring and the harness. I saw that on the web, for me it was wrong probably due to the drl function.

I still have the intermittent shutting down of the ballast, I assume this is due to the reading voltage trough the missing bulb. It will be solve when i will install the resistor.

I'll keep you update on that.

2006 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9L Diesel

Recently Installed Innovioted HID kit 55W 6000k bulbs
Also have Projectors in the truck that take H1 for Lows / H1 for Highs
i have the innovioted H1 55w kit installed in my projector low beams. I noticed on my Dodge ram 2500 the 2006 models do not have a (lamp out) feature. but my problem i am getting when i turn the hids on they flicker together on and off on and off continuously. Can anyone help me? Do i need a Capacitor for AntiFlicker?

Welcome to the site. Go back and read the first page. This thread is filled with the same question and problem of ppl having strobing or flickering. You need load resistors

Assuming you mean you have HID low and halogen high, you would need 2 resistors total with one being on each side

How would a resistor even work if im using a relay harness that only plugs into one original h13 connector?

Actually its not dosnt tell me how to hook up resistors onto a single beam hid relay kit or how u would do it since u only use (1) h13 plug when using a relay harness.

Doesn't matter what bulb you have or if you have a HID low/halogen high or HID lo/hi. Concept and wiring is the same. The harness has nothing to do with it. You might be better just going on eBay and ordering a pre-made PnP load resistor harness
