Parts list should be accurate as far the the two adapters. You can also use Auto Meter's temp sender manifold #2286 that goes into the tranny line which eliminates adapters and crawing under the truck for test port #3. That is what I am going to do. Easier on me cutting into the line near the cooler/radiator than crawling under the truck to get to TP3.

What gauge are you planning on using? Did you know Auto Meter offers a factory matched gauge for the Rams? They offer it in short sweep( #8549 )and full sweep ( #8557 )in the required 2 1/16" size. I decided to go with this gauge in the short sweep style.

Why did you have a problem finding the SRT-10 A-Pillar? Any Dodge dealer can order the SRT-10 pillar for 06-08( 09 HD's too )Rams. Standard OE part. I got mine from the dealer I use for $40. Took 2 days to get in. ( Mopar # ZL39BD1AA )

I haven't actually hooked everything up yet as the weather is too bad. Just have it all here( gauge hasn't arrived yet )waiting.

Short sweep has less of a temperature range and fewer points of data. Full sweep as the name implies has a greater temperature range and more points of data.

Here are the Dodge OE match gauges in SS and FS so you see whhat I mean...

SHORT SWEEP:

FULL SWEEP:

I have the Phantom II...wish I would have known about the 8557..or is it new. Put mine in about a year and a half ago...the manifold works really well.
