my question is, if i wanted to do a 4" lift on the truck do i need to buy all new parts or are some of the ones i already have going to help me out?

yea just get some spindles and keep those and you will have 5" or 6" depending on the spindle brand

When I installed my CST 4" lift spindles, I didn't need anything else, it came with everything I needed, just new bolts and the spindle itself. The you will probably need longer brake lines if you're going to be at 5" lift total in the front. I didn't, but i'm only running the 4" spindles. Besides that the install was pretty easy.

just reverse your brake lines. But the 02-05 have an easier time with brakelines

Also would I be better off with 3" so I don't have to mess with break lines?
