look at FAQ section.

shorties vs LTs depends on what you want from your truck?

well isnt it LT you just get more Torque out of it? plus I would have to do more pipe work i believe as to the Shortys being kinda of a snap on situation. I want better performance but im not towing a airliner most i tow/pull i could use my stock everything and be fine. Plus im not mudding

Would I need to take it to a body shop for them to do that or what? i was more or less looking to be able to DIYS but better performance is my goal so thats what matters.

Performance then look into Long Tubes. DIY is up to you. Prob' want to research more on what it entails. If a shop then look into a exhaust shop vs a body shop.

dont take this wrong but..........this is prolly over top of a a standard DIY project. installing the headers is a diy job, but after that youre talking about welding pipe, bending it, etc....

to get it right i would take it to a shop that can do exactly what you want. that also means you might have to make some calls and face to face with ppl and looking at cars before you go the the closest exhaust shop just cuz theyre closer and cheaper.

hope this helps...just my 2 cents

I was told shortys wouldnt really need work but LT would so I would def take my truck to a shop if i was doing LT i am not that mechanically inclined.
