Default blow up truck....

I added the seafoam today to the truck and even got a can of the seafoam trans cleaner.
Couldnt beleive how much smoke came out, couldnt see 6 of my neighbours houses.
Called the othere auto parts store and got prices on the o2 sensors and there not to bad $68.00 each and asked about the map sensor and he had no listing for one so he said i might need to go to the dealer for that.
I am trying to do things here one at the time just in case i find what it was then i will know what part.
but will keep everyone posted and if anyone knows what that makes the clicking in the egeine let me know cause when it does my idle goes up and down alot....

Thanks all.

Rockauto.com Has them for half the price just make sure that you get NGK,NTK the other o2s dont work well in these Rams. Map sensor is like 15. If you decide to buy from there i have a 5% off if you would like

And since you ran a "Cleaner Through a Closed Loop i would recomend changing your trans fluid now.... you broke apart alot of nasty stuff and now alls you are doing is running it through the same system

Angry blow up truck.

Didnt get nothing done on the truck except for the Map sensor since i was called into work on the weekend.
I was wondering if anyone knows if if there is a steering sensor on our trucks...just cause when i am sitting at the light and if i turn the wheel the rpms go up and back down but also almost stalls.
Thought it may be something to look into.

well I've seen RPMs jump on cars that have a power steering pump that is either very low or overfilled with fluid, or if a line has clogged, can be particularly worse if the return line to the pump is clogged...

Only other time I've seen that happen is when the tensioner is maxxed out b/c the accessory belt is stretched beyond acceptable limits.

Check the belt for cracks and damage... you can search on google for pictures of what worn belts will look like if you don't know what you're looking for.

The reprogramming procedure requires access to software and equipment that most owners do not have. The very long and involved programming procedure will not be posted here. To see the specific instructions, you can obtain or view a copy of this TSB at your dealership.

Secondly, I've erased my PCM and re-written it many times. EVERY time you use a tuner to tune it, you can read on the screen that it copies your PCM to the tuner, erases the PCM and writes it's tune to it. So for a tech to say you can't over-write your PCM to me means you need another tech/dealer.

ALSO, if you DO NOT have a PCM software update sticker in the engine compartment, then your PCM has not been updated. Chrysler mandates that ANY TIME the software is updated/modified, that a “Authorized Modification Label†p/n 04275086AB, be placed in plain view. No sticker means you are running the same faulty software that the truck shipped with.

IMO, your dealership is either A) woefully undertrained, B) extremely lazy or C) lying or is a combination of the three.

In the mean time, GROUND YOUR THROTTLE BODY, although I've not heard it fixing flat out stalling issues, it DOES help maintain idle fluctuation and may very well help. It's free or damn close to it and can't hurt...

When i turn my steering wheel a little each way the RPMs go up slightly.

When it was My o2 sensor it fixed it as soon as i replaced the o2.

It drops to about 300-400 RPMs and then stumbles back to normal RPM? Maybe even dying?
