Default Cruise Control Issues

My 06 1500 Quad is having an issue with its cruise Control. I cant say it doesn't work at all but it only works between certain speeds. 40-45 then 65-70. Other then that the light wont even come on if say I was going 50. Any ideas? Thx in advance!

Sort of same problem here. Cruise goes on at any speed then after about 5 miles, shuts off.

I changed the front brakes on my 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 and now the cruise control won't work and the ABS Light stays on. What did I do wrong?

Had the same problem ended up being the from Left wheel bearing hub assembly . The speed sensor for the cruse control is located in the hub, that’s what causes the issue

Ok yeah I just replaced that a few weeks ago and the cruise went out about the same time. So what should I do? Is there something I need to redo?

make sure the wheel speed sensor (L Hub bearing) is pluged in. Check the pins, water in the connector. Cruise control gets its signal from that wheel sensor. Poss the sensor went back. Where did you get the hub from? maybe a warranty

If it ends being the speed sensor up front, have either of you had gear work done or changed tire size?

On my 04 had both. I ran 285/70/17 tires. Truck came with 3.55 gears. Had 4.56 installed for towing. Changing tires size will effect the speedo, gears will not mine was 5mph lower than actual speed.

It just occurred to me that I installed a superchips programmer that supposedly adjusted the speedo for my 35" tires. I am now thinking this adjustment threw everything off. Cruise worked before re-calibration.
