Should I just get the springs and pushrods from a dealer? I work for chrysler and I get a discount on parts

6.1 pushrods are 0.050" longer and the 6.1 springs are shorter than the 5.7 so it is a good idea to use the push rods

Thats it. Be sure to pack paper towels in the oil drain and push rod holes while changing springs so IF you loose a keeper, you wont loose it in the engine

good tip! What would be the best way to clean out all this crap? also there is a ton of black **** on the back of the valve cover. Is it even worth it to clean all this off?
