Old style Mopar filters had drainback problems. New ones are revised. This is the filter that looks like an oil filter mounted to the front portion of the transmission. It's the return filter. Easily changed.

Common symptoms: Delayed and harsh engagement.

The 68RFE, 65RFE, 45RFE and 545RFE do not have any band adjustments. You do have two transmission filters. The transmission that has band adjustments are the 42/44RE,46RE,47RE and the 48RE transmissions. Send me the last 9 of the vin and I'll be able to tell you which transmission you have by the build sheet and I could also send you the sheet too. They is also a AS68RC transmission for the 6.7 diesel too.
